NVIDIA vGPU 19.0 Elevates AI and Graphics Virtualization on Blackwell GPUs
NVIDIA has launched its vGPU 19.0 software, marking a significant leap in graphics and AI virtualization for Blackwell GPUs. The update promises enhanced scalability and efficiency, catering to the rising demands of virtualized environments.
The RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, equipped with 96 GB of GDDR7 memory, are central to this release. These GPUs accelerate enterprise workloads, from AI inference to scientific computing, while vGPU 19.0 optimizes performance for VIRTUAL desktops and AI-driven tasks.
Leveraging Multi-Instance GPU (MIG) technology, Nvidia enables partitioning a single GPU into isolated instances. This ensures Quality of Service (QoS) and supports up to 48 concurrent virtual machines, streamlining diverse workloads.
